Mondays are crazy around here. Of course, we have school in the morning, but right now, we’re currently locked in to corrective therapy sessions for our oldest son’s vision. (That’s kind of a long story that I may have to delve into one day. The awesome thing is that it’s working, and he’s improving tremendously. This is a temporary thing that will probably last around six months.) We usually have just enough time to grab some Chipotle and run home to drop things off before we head to the kids’ group we volunteer with on Monday nights. All in all, we run from 8am-9pm, when we collapse on the couch and actually get a chance to eat.
This means that Tuesday is my morning to wake up, take a deep breath, and really dive into the work and life of our week. Orders are worked, assignments and commissions are collected and organized. Blog posts are scheduled, and calendars are checked.
I’ve been working hard to make sure that I can start Tuesdays with a clean slate. Clean, uncluttered, work spaces have been going a LONG way to increase my productivity lately. (psst – if you’re putting off sorting out our workspace – don’t! I put it off WAY too long.)
So here’s to a happy, productive Tuesday!
And PS: My husband just texted me with an evening plan of rum and cokes and NBA playoffs. Yes, please! I’ve been working on organizing my time to be efficient enough to squeeze in more time for actual relaxing = more balanced life. I can’t wait to share more on that in the upcoming posts for Women and Handmade Business!
I also have a SUPER fab interview/featured business owner coming later this week that will be sharing how she grew her business through local markets and networking with local businesses. Eee! I can’t wait to share! I learned a lot from what she had to share, and I know you will, too!
