I’m not going to lie, it’s one of those weeks where I’m trying to get a handle on things after settling back in from traveling, and just about everything is going wrong. I’m not kidding. I’m not going to bore you with details here.
Instead, I’m going to share an exercise that I do when I feel like the roof is falling in. I start expressing gratitude. So, here goes.
1.) For a sister and a husband that call and reassure you that the ten pounds you gained will come off because you know how to handle it. And that it wasn’t you just falling off the wagon because you’ve got other health issues you’re dealing with right now.
2.) For a clean bill of health finally from the doctor.
3.) For vitamin therapies changing my life. Probiotics straightening out my stomach and digestive issues, and B12 treatments that are working.
4.) For opportunities that are growing and blossoming in my business and my husband’s career. I’m so, so grateful for these! It’s gratifying to work hard and see the fruits of your labor.
5.) For a hair cut that has given me a bunch of really good hair days lately. (It’s the little things, really.)
So here’s hoping that things look up a bit this week! It’s almost the weekend, anyway… Whew!

I love this idea… it’s actually less work on the mind to find a silver lining when things go bad than dwell in the house of misery.
