Hello! I’m Meggan, owner of Meggan Harrison Photography. I am a mother of 3 little kiddos. I am quite busy between having my business and my children so I like to keep my planner handy to stay organized. On the side I enjoy creating graphic or crafts. What kind of photography do you specialize in or use for your business?
I specialize in natural light photography. I feel it gives the most real look to portraits and/or product photography.
Where are you located and how does your location influence your photography?
I live in a medium to big sized town in Kansas. I have always leaned more toward nature settings because of the scenery. We have all four seasons so it give some diversity to my shoots.
What is your favorite part of the photography process?
My favorite part of the photography process Is being able to create special moments with my clients. I want their images to be full of life and magic.
My other favorite part would be editing my clients images. This is where I get to let my creativity out and set myself apart.
How would you describe your photography style?
I would describe my style as candid. I really like to catch natural moments as they come and not pose to much. My editing style has gotten a little more moody from where I started. I feel with these two style it brings my images more life.
How do you like to go out of your way for your clients?
We live in a society where we want things quickly and almost instant. So when I get a message from someone I try to respond in a timely manor. Also after doing a session I try my best to get the images to my clients to view as soon as I can because I know that they are eager to check them out.
What’s your favorite thing about your bluebird chic strap?
Bluebird Chic knows how to create beautiful straps that have amazing quality. I love that I don’t feel like I have a boring strap holding my camera, instead it’s more like an accessory to my outfit.
My Bluebird Chic strap allows a nice comfort fit around your neck. It doesn’t feel like it’s digging in especially when you get those heavier lens’ on your camera. They are easy to instal on your camera, which I love! I can easily switch out my strap to another super quick and be on my way to another photoshoot!
