Today I’m highlighting a shop that’s both practical and creative! I first met Kelleigh several years ago when we both started learning photoshop by taking online classes at JessicaSprague.com. {I still highly recommend it!!} We’ve sort of loosely kept track of each other’s endeavors through the years, watching as we grew in our skills and how our businesses and opportunities have grown out of those skills.
Keleigh’s shop features a cash envelope system that she designed herself, cuts, folds and assembles. So now, not only can you be budget conscious, but it’s a bit easier on the eyes in the process! I love how Kelleigh has chosen a very specific product, that has very specific reach, and run with it!
She’s always adding new sets, so there’s sure to be something there that you love! Here are a couple more!
And a pretty pink one:
Here’s a bit about Kelleigh:
I’m a work at home mom with two adorable boys and a hard working, handsome husband of 14+ years. I love reading, crafting, cooking, couponing and coffee, but not necessarily in that order. Since my youngest is in kindergarten, I’ve been able to devote a little more time to my Etsy shop and papercraft template boutique, plus I just started creating adoption profile books for families wanting to introduce themselves to potential birthparents, so I get to play with my digital scrapbooking supplies quite a bit! I teach Bible at my older son’s public school once a week and love being involved with both boys’ education. I spend WAY too much time on Facebook and Pinterest, and I’m subscribed to too many blogs, but I like to call that market research!
And here’s what Kelleigh has to share about her business:
On January 1st, 2010 I participated in a blog hop freebie giveaway where I gave away a FREE Cash Envelope System Template and wrote up a little tutorial explaining how I used it to create some pretty cash envelopes for my wallet.
After a full year of deflecting requests from readers wanting me to create and sell cash envelopes for them, I finally decided to go out on a limb and try it. I opened up my Etsy shop at the end of January 2011, and have learned a lot in the process, including the importance of good photos and a quality product, creating more than one identical product and relisting, pricing my product appropriately, and the beautify of cooperative marketing. On my one year anniversary, I celebrated 400 sales!
That little post I wrote in 2010 has reached close to 400,000 views, and has been my main source of marketing and advertising for my Etsy store. {that goes to show what one opportunity can do for you if you seize the moment!}
You can check out other items in her Etsy shop, papercraft template boutique for templates that she designs to make fun hybrid projects, and don’t forget to drop by her blog to check out happenings with Kelleigh! I love her story and how’s she’s growing her business to best suit her and her family!
