This month’s word up! for August is LOST – and it seems completely appropriate considering what we’re all experiencing this week.
I really was lost for words the first couple of days. And filled with sadness. Having suffered from depression myself, I felt myself turning inward and slipping down the quiet hallways of thought that I had slowly walked away from over time. Depression is such a dark and lonely place. It doesn’t matter how many people surround you and tell you that they love you.
I’m thankful that those days are over for me. And I survived. Because every day there are people who don’t.
There has since been more information emerge about him facing Parkinson’s disease, which is enlightening…
Yesterday, I stumbled upon this beautiful tribute quote free printable from Geralyn Sy on her blog In a Creative Bubble. I’ll definitely be printing this to add to my project life album with a few thoughts on how he and his work have impacted me. Be sure to stop by her blog and grab yours! This is only available for personal use, and be sure to credit her with the beautiful work!
Be sure to stop in and play along with this month’s word up challenge!

I absolutely love this. Thank you also for sharing your story! I have anxiety, or more often than not, I think I have some minor underlying issues that a little counseling and scrapbooking couldn’t fix. I didn’t no about this challenge before today, but I think I will participate in this month. In addition I think I’ll do a challenge about Robin Williams as well, as he is such an inspiration. I don’t think you knew how much the world actually loved him.
