make merry diy #2 – framed ornaments

December 11, 2014

Everyone needs just a little bit of gold for the holidays, don’t you think? I’m not really a person that runs around with glitter or much for metallics most of the year, but when it comes to Christmas, I love a bit of gold teamed up with one other color and maybe white. Tanya from dans le lakehouse does just that with these beautiful ornaments in salvaged, upcycled frames.

These acorn ornaments are my favorite! Be sure to stop by her anywhere but the tree post to see exactly how she sets up the frames for this lovely project, along with a very cool and rustic ladder with ornaments that I love. And where did she get the ladder? Ha! I laughed a bit when I read her tale. I’m pretty sure we’d be friends in real life if we met.
