Oh, how I love ornaments. Have I ever mentioned that I grew up with a tradition of receiving one each year as a kid? By the time I struck out on my own, I already had everything I needed for a pretty tree, and each and every one of the ornaments meant something to me. I also filled several craft fair tables with ornaments to sell starting when I was in jr high or high school. I made the above clay ornaments a few years ago, and the banners yet another year. This little tree in our master bedroom is probably my favorite. I love it so much that I keep it up until valentine’s day as a winter decoration…
These particular rustic twig arrow ornaments by thoughts from alice for yellow bliss road satisfy just enough of the love of the rustic to remind me of the woods. And cold air. And fresh fallen snow. I thought it would be fin to add a 2014 charm to the end of mine, so I grabbed a set from the TulipJewelrySupplies etsy shop.
