Now that the dust is finally settling from everything that’s been going on the last few months and I’m getting back into a routine, (I define that as having more than one week of schooling on a regular routine this year.Wow, it’s been a bit on the crazy side.) I’m back to blogging.
If you’re a regular blog follower, you’ll notice a few changes over the coming month – I’ll be breaking it up into a couple of categories, so this space on the front page of the website will be devoted to just news related to the handmade business of bluebird chic.
Can I be honest? One of the reasons I’ve been holding back on blogging was that I started to feel like it was strange to have my personal thoughts and projects plastered on the home page of my handmade business website. And like maybe the people that followed my personal blog weren’t always interested in hearing about my handmade business. I wanted to change things to make that something that you could decide on. My personal blog will always have links to my business, because, well, it’s a big part of who I am.
So far, I’ve decided to keep news for bluebird chic here on the home page, establish one blog for personal projects like crafting, recipes, and DIY, and one final page that I’ll be sharing handmade business related posts on. I’ll update across the different blogs throughout the week with a post or two that fall into the topic of that particular blog – but that way you’ll have the option to see and follow “all the things” (I love Allie Brosh of Hyperbole and a Half) or just the part you want.
