bluebird chic

camera straps, photography inspiration

I’m off to make it in design school

November 3, 2014

make it in design school

Well, virtually, anyway! I enrolled in the Make it In Design School Module I course in March, and it was such an amazing experience! I looked on longingly as they posted the information for Module II to begin in October – but kept telling myself that it wasn’t the best timing for me, as much as I really, really wanted it.

Well, they hosted a little contest in partnership with design juices (an amazing and inspiring design site), and I entered on a whim.

I’m one of those people that will tell you flat out that I never, ever win anything, but – here I am! Guess it was meant to be this go round. So, I’m bending my head over my desk, and looking around me for inspiration, and dialing off of technology a bit more(read that as LESS WEB SURFING! HA!)  to find inspiration in real life. I’ll be drawing and sketching, and thinking about what it is that I’m drawn to, and what I really love…
