Hey, everyone! The Bluebird Chic shops will be closed temporarily while my family evacuates for Hurricane Irma.
We will reopen as soon as possible and in the meantime many of our bestsellers are still available in our Amazon Handmade shop . Items that are available there are warehoused at Amazon, so they’re not affected by power outages and shipping delays in our area from the storm.
I’m so sorry for any inconvenience this may cause and thank you all for your understanding and support!
**Update 09/13/2017: I’m in close contact with my husband, and our home had no damage, and has already had power restored. We happen to live on a priority grid where a fire station and hospital are also located, so we tend to get power restored quickly. Our sons and I are heading back home this weekend. I’ll post updates to shop openings as soon as I’m able to verify whether the post office has reopened in our area. As of right now, MANY are listed a closed until further notice, some are making limited deliveries, and none in our area have been listed as fully functioning.**
