project life 2014 title page

January 18, 2014

Faith, love, family.

Taking a moment today to share the title page that I created for my 2014 project life album. I’m  using the midnight edition of the cards, but each month I’m planning to supplement the neutral cards with pops of color and personality both from my scrapbooking stash and the monthly JBS Mercantile kits.

Already I’ve noticed a huge difference in how I’m viewing the daily life stuff around here – paying closer attention to details, snapping a few more photos, and capturing the little moments that are so fleeting in life. All good things.

This is definitely my favorite card for the title page! Created on watercolor paper mixing deep magenta and purple pancake watercolor + splatters of black. Black ink pen used to write “love” after the watercolor dried.

Are you doing project life this year? Link up your pages in the comments and I’ll stop by! I’d love to see!

Beautiful! I love this title page! I haven’t tackled mine yet… I don’t feel like my 2013 title page captured the essence of my album, so I’m waiting a while to do this years! I post all my weekly spreads on my website http://mrscraftyadams.blogspot.com

Leah I am so glad I found your blog. I have just started PL with the birth of my twin grandbabies because i have so many photos and I may not otherwise get to scrap them I also wanted to inject my style into it and I love what you have done her. Just gorgeous.
