This was one of my biggest struggles – going all the way back to college as I longingly toured the art program at a local private college. (Looking back, I also have come to recognize my own struggles with imposter syndrome.) I allowed myself to listen to the all of the negative voices that pushed me toward something “practical”.
Until I found Surface Pattern Design. This past year, my art and illustration work has begun to develop and grow in ways I had never believed it could, largely due to my enrollment in The Immersion course by Bonnie Christine.
If you’ve been dreaming about how to turn your art into a career, but really aren’t sure just how to make it happen, this could be for you! This week, Bonnie has a Free Mastercourse in Surface Design just for you to check things out.
If you decide it’s something that will help you on your journey, you can join me for the 2020 Immersion Course! I’ll be working through it again through the month of March and April this year. The community is supportive, Bonnie is amazing, and I’ll be sharing more of my own story with you in the hopes that it helps on your journey.
I can’t stress enough how this has changed things for me – a lot of which I’ll be sharing regularly over this coming year, because I really want to same for others. If you saw my post on Facebook recently, you know that I believe in generously giving everything I know to help others grow, too.
As this year progresses, you’ll be seeing things grow and change here at Bluebird Chic. Beyond camera straps. I’ll be sharing my journey as a growing and expanding artist – not for my own sake, but in the hopes that whatever I say can help you realize your art dreams, too – whether it’s work as a photographer, illustrator, writer, or surface pattern designer!
