Happy Mother’s Day to all of the moms out there! I hope you’re enjoying a little break from the regular routines of taking care of everyone. And your family was able to treat you to something special for today.
Here’s this week’s sunday post – links to what’s been catching my eye around the interwebs all week:
How to make a marriage work – I always love these posts on zen habits. I’ve found all of these things to be true over the years. I’m happy that we didn’t marry too young. We were both a bit more mature as people before we stepped into our roles as husband and wife, and our marriage has been a relatively smooth ride over the years. It’s an amazing thing when you find the right person to spend your life with.
This amazing, amazing wedding photographer, Ross Harvey. The first thing that jumps at me (besides the fact that his images are utterly amazing), is his incorporation of shapes into his images. It gives a very modern edge to the classic look of his work. Yum.
This post from Elise – three things I know to be true/blogging. No, it’s not about the numbers. Sometimes, it’s just about doing what you love and are passionate about. The numbers go up and down, and come back around if you’re true to yourself.
The cheese platter to die for by naturally ella. This post is a bit of eye candy for food lovers.
The anatomy of a bridal bouquet on Style Me Pretty. It’s no secret that I love flowers. (I even spent a summer working in a floral shop in college.) And I long for the day when I’ll be able to have a backyard FULL of them. This is a GREAT post on the breakdown of putting together a pretty bouquet or table arrangement.
