I’m happy that we’ve gotten around to being a lot more silly again lately. Time flies quickly, and life is a whole lots cooler when you can laugh. The boys got this willie robertson beard/bandana combo from their uncle dan when we were back to visit in February, and promptly had to put it on. They also pretty much decided he’s a keeper (he and my sister got engaged over the holidays).
And though I love starbucks as much as the next person, really, the big, big reason that keeps me coming back to my local joint is their fun way of leaving encouraging notes in he drive thru that I love the most. I mean really, I didn’t even use the coolest photo that I’ve taken where they mention quiditch practice and all that.
And last but not least, I thought this transparency was perfect to add to my sky deck layout. We visited Willis Tower Sky Deck in Chicago on our last trip, and I have to say that not only did we enjoy it, but I think I can speak for both my husband and myself when I say that we fell in love with certain aspects of the city on our trip. I hate to say it, but there’s a good bit of it that just feels like home whenever we visit. We adored staying in the streetersville area on Magnificent Mile. After settling into our hotel room in the Mile North, we just walked over to the famous Gino’s East for deep dish pizza for dinner. It was a snowy night, so things were quiet and cozy. And it was the first time that we had done something for a weekend that was just the two of us since, well, probably June of 2012.
Be sure to take a peek at the March JBS Mercantile kits. They feature a lot of the new Jenni Bowlin goods, and I had a great time putting these layouts together with it. My studio space is either packed away, or tossed up, so it was nice to be able to just pull out the kit and have everything I needed to create.
