I’m so excited to share that I’ve teamed up with Theresa from Allergy Apparel to offer these alert cuffs – when she approached me with her design/idea, I knew it was something I wanted to get involved in right away!
As parents to a son that has been diagnosed with a severe allergy to peanuts, it’s always important to us to make sure that we’re not only educating and empowering our son, but also offering him options to live with his allergy that are safe, comfortable and non-intrusive. One of our highest goals in life is to give him the ability to live a fulfilling and awesome life, while maintaining his safety.
When he saw me stitching these up, he promptly chose this one:
Probably because he loves basketball and is a big fan of the Miami Heat. Which to me is awesome. He saw it, flipped it on, and felt like it belonged. Score one for mom and dad! The inside label is set up to write on with a plain, fine point pen, which makes it super easy for us, as well.
Theresa is still adding the new items to her site! {She had a bit of technical difficulty this week – hello, hard drive crash. Ugh.} I’ll be sure to post up on my facebook page when she has all of them online. There are six styles for boys, and six for girls. I found them listed under the “what’s new” category on her site.
Happy Friday all!!
